Korea, Spain reach agreement on working holiday visa program

Korea and Spain have reached an agreement
on a working holiday visa program,… marking Seoul’s 22nd such deal with countries around
the world. The Spanish Embassy in Korea says the program
will allow one-thousand young people from Korea and Spain to work in the other country
for up to one year. Seoul’s ambassador to Spain Park Hee-kwon
says the scheme will boost cultural and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries, and help
create new jobs. The visa program is set to take effect in
February or March after necessary procedures are carried out.
