How to get an Egypt tourist visa on arrival | $25USD

Hi travellers, I’m Anne’s daughter, Lileko, I’ve just arrived in Cairo airport. When you get off the plane and come through to passport control on your left there’s a bunch of banks. That’s where you want to go for the $25 visa. You just hand them over US dollars and they give you this little sucker. And then you join the queue in passport control to get through. Just in case you are wondering, it’s quite a simple process. No queue and well the queues are at passport control behind me. The queues at possible controll in front of me, but in terms of getting it, it’s very easy. New Zealanders, it’s valid for 30 days. So let’s enjoy Cairo. Please be sure to check out my other video review of flying Egypt air to come to Cairo. They are part of the Star Alliance. I had a really nice trip. So I’ll put that link in the description box below. If you found this video helpful please give it a thumbs up, and we’ll see you in the next one. Whatever Cairo holds ahead, wahoo! More adventures to come. Alright, so I’m just going to collect my luggage. I got through immigration just fine, so they put the sticker in my passport. I recommend having someone come and pick you up, because when you get out and they meet outside the terminal. Because they’re not supposed to come in. But because there’s a lot of people hounding you for rides, it’s best to have someone come. So I’m expecting them, the hotel where I’ve booked. So with the hotel that I’ve booked there offer a free airport pick up, so I hope they’re on time and yes. That’s also really handy. Right, where’s my bag?

  1. Hi. How were you travelling-with a group or as solo traveller. Because im heading that way this year and been reading that people travelling solo require visa before they leave home country. Thanks.

  2. Are those banks open 24/7? Nice video! It was gonna cost me $118 for an evisa through flight centre. Then i emailed Egyptian embassy in NZ and was told about this which is cheaper so thats me ๐Ÿ˜

  3. Hello, quick question. Did you have to arrive with passport photos, two copies of the application, and any other documents? or was it as simple as handing the bank $25?

  4. I couldnโ€™t understand much of what you were saying. You were mumbling and very low on some parts. But thank you for the info
