Elkins Rotary Club looks to promote tourism in Randolph County


MORNING. 911 SAYS A TRACTOR TRAILER ACCIDENT NEAR MILE MARKER 151 ON 1-79 NORTH CLOSED THE RIGHT LANE. THE ACCIDENT INVOLVED 4 TRACTOR TRAILERS..RESULTING IN A CARGO LOSS AND FUEL SPILL. 9-1-1 OFFICIALS SAY THE RIGHT LANE WAS RE- OPENED JUST AFTER 11 A.M. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. MARISA ELKINS ROTARY CLUB MEMBERS HAVE BEEN CALLED TO ACTION DURING THIS AFTERNOON’S REGULAR MEETING. OFFICIALS FROM ELKINS-RANDOLPH COUNTY TOURISM PRESENTED THE WORK THEY HAVE BEEN DOING WITH THE COMMUNITY AND THROUGHOUT THE STATE TO BOLSTER AND SUPPORT AREA TOURISM. THE ORGANIZATION IS WORKING TO SUPPORT AND EXPAND THE TOURISM OUTREACH WITHIN THE COUNTY TO APPEAL TO A LARGER AUDIENCE IN THE SURROUNDING STATES. TAIRA LANDAVERE “We live in a digital world.
