Charleston, SC Tourism – Real Estate News

Nearly 4 million visitors each year make the
Charleston SC area their vacation destination of choice. It’s really no surprise considering the outstanding
reputation the city has for accommodations, dining, entertaining, shopping and activities. The historic downtown district of Charleston
is considered to be the cultural capitol of the South. Be sure to experience a guided tour through
the historic landmarks, including 18th century homes, museums, churches, the world famous
Battery and City Market. Bus, foot, ghost and horse drawn carriage
tours are all great options. A very popular attraction is the South Carolina
Aquarium, located on the Charleston Harbor. Not only do you get to see the marine and
wildlife of the Lowcountry and Atlantic up close, but you get to experience in a one
of a kind atmosphere. While you’re at the Harbor, take a Harbor
Cruise and enjoy seeing Charleston dolphins up close. There are numerous plantations and historical
forts that are worth checking out as well. Magnolia Plantation and Boone Hall Plantation
have breathtaking gardens and often host fun events throughout the year. Fort Sumter, Fort Moultrie, along with Patriot’s
Point are great places to go learn about the Civil War history and involvement. No trip to Charleston is complete without
paying a visit to one of three area beaches. Sullivan’s Island, Isle of Palms, and Folly
Beach are all great options to soak up the sun. If you like to surf or enjoy other water sports,
head to Folly Beach. If you’re a golfer, you’re in luck. Charleston offers exceptional world class
golf on some of the most breathtaking courses. Of course, layout is very important, from
coastal terrain to tight wooded areas, all with varying challenges. There’s always something happening in Charleston
at any given time. This unique combination of southern hospitality
and charm, laid back coastal atmosphere, rich colonial history and significant architecture
make Charleston SC an ideal place to live, work and play. My name is Bob Brennaman and if you’d like
