The world has always been fascinated with
time travellers. Ever since H G Wells, wrote his classic novel, The Time Machine, people
have wondered what it would be like to time travel.
That is a question maybe some people have already answered, as we bring you 4 fascinating
time travellers. This photo turned up on the Virtual Museum
of Canada, a museum that records Canadian history. It details the reopening of the south
fork bridge. And was taken in the 1940s. The event drew a large crowd, as can be seen in
the photo, but there is just one person that stands out.
He is wearing a strange T-shirt and sunglasses for the time. And looks, if we are honest,
like someone would dress at least 40 years later. Even today, you could say he would
be on the vanguard of fashion. is this man a time traveller, that has come
to document an event in history, for personal reasons? Or just someone that makes his own
clothes and was before his time. You decide. Our next example might be a delight for Charlie
Chaplin fans. It is a clip from his premier of his film, The Circus. In it, we see a shot
of outside the 1928 premier. In the clip Two individuals walk across the screen behind
a zebra. But look closer at what the woman is holding to her ear?
It looks like what appears to be a modern day cell phone. Or some kind of device like
a cell phone. She is clearly listening to it.
is this some kind of unknown listening device, that people used in 1928? Or is this woman
a true time traveller. You be the judge. …………… Our next example is not a time traveller,
but a photo that has captured an object that is from the present time, but which was found
in an ancient tomb. Perhaps something a time traveller left behind.
As you can see, it is a modern day watch. But the only problem is, in 2008
Chinese archaeologists allegedly removed it from an ancient undisturbed coffin of 400-year
old Si Qing. As they removed soil from inside the coffin, they discovered something that
shocked and disturbed all around. inside they found a piece of metal shaped like a watch,
with Swiss marked on the back. Watches were not around at the time of the
Ming Dynasty and Switzerland did not even exist as a country.
Jiang Yanyu, former curator of the Guangxi Museum, states: ‘When we tried to remove the soil wrapped
around the coffin, suddenly a piece of rock dropped off and hit the ground with metallic
sound . . . ‘We picked up the object, and found it was a ring.
‘After removing the covering soil and examining it further, we were shocked to see it was
a watch,’ . . . .. . How did the watch get inside the soil of an
ancient undisturbed 300 year old tomb. This has remained a mystery without any explanation. Our next clip is another film, but this one
captured in 1938. it is of a group of woman exiting the Dupont
factory in Massachusetts. In the video you can not only see a woman with a device to
her ear, but she is clearly talking back to the device. Unlike the chaplain footage, this
device cannot be described as a listening device, or disregarded as such. It is of course,
unknown what the device is, but it looks very much like yet another cell phone. The woman
is even careful to put it away quickly, as if she fears the lens of the camera. What
kind of device could this be, and what is the woman using it for? Remember, this is
1938. Cell phones did not exist. Is this clear evidence of a time traveller, yet again, captured
in footage? You decide. time travel is fascinating, and I hope you
enjoyed my 4 accounts of time travellers. And please subscribe, and leave a comment
